Jongjeom - Sindangdong: the Street of Spicy Tteokbokki

Sindangdong is a must visit for me when I visit Seoul. Having the hot, spicy tteokbokki is the best thing to warm you up in the nice cooling weather.

You can refer to my previous post here where I ate at Mabongnim Halmeoni Tteokbokki :

Jongjeom has been open for 25 years. Initially, it was located at the end of Tteokbokki Street, which is how it earned the name Jongjeom, meaning ‘the end of the line.’ (Currently, several other restaurants have opened around Jeongjeom’s original location.)

Sindangdong-style tteokbokki is consisted of a good mix of red pepper paste and sweet sauce which creates this sweet and spicy fare. The pot comes with fish dumplings, ramen, tteokbokki, assorted vege, boiled egg, mushrooms etc. Fish dumplings were damn good!!
tteokbokki 11,000 won (2pax)/ 14,000 won (3pax)/ 19,000 won (4pax)/ 25,000won (5pax)
