Hong Kong Foodie : Lin Heung Tea House 蓮香樓

I have finally sorted out the 300+ pics from the recent HK trip and is now ready to share my virgin food experience there. Many are surprised but this is really my 1st visit to that hot travel destination.

4 out of the group of us who went to Dim Sum breakfast were First-timers in HK and one of our friends keep warning us beforehand to be prepared for the "warzone" @ 蓮香樓.

The moment we entered, I got what he meant instantly. Basically, if you do not speak canto or at least mandarin and have no idea how this "trolley" culture works then its as good as having no luck with their tasty dimsum or be in for some scolding.

Quick Guide:
1. Free sitting - grab any available seats and be prepared to share table and  split up if you are there in a big group. If you are lucky enough, get one near the exit of the kitchen
2. Dim Sum aunties will come out pushing trolleys of food. Popular items such as Char Siew Bao, Siew Mai, Glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leave is like a competition of fastest first. So be quick!
*in general, the aunties were really nice to me and my other gf. lucky us!*
3. You will be given one food card. Each time you grab something from the trolley, the auntie will need to give you a stamp. Please bring that along to the stations if you want to avoid any scolding.

Dimsum here is cheap and good. Definitely worth the visit!!
