Gold Coast - Mermaid Beach, Surfers Paradise

DAY 2
the day where we decide to take things slow.

For breakfast, we took a bus and travelled to Mermaid Beach just for the highly raved PANCAKES ON THE ROCKS.

I love the Farmer's Brunch. Wrap with potatoes and meat.

Address: 2488 Gold Coast Hwy, Mermaid Beach QLD 4218, Australia

---
Headed back to Sufers Paradise to get some Tan and busk under the sun.

Then it was a seafood feast at Citrique @ Marriott Hotel.

Didn't regret heading there on Good Friday because Citrique specially catered seafood night for this day.
The oysters, crayfish, salmon sashimi is fresh and sooooo goooooooooood!!!! I'm drooling while writing this entry. so wanna go back now.

Tiramisu is the only dessert that satisfy among the entire dessert spread. Perhaps its just me and my fussy taste bud.

Address: 158 Ferny Ave, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217, Australia

  1. I appreciate the blog, and I know how much work they are. I have a few blogs, but am consolidating on them now. One of them is to pay "tribute" to the Gold Coast Meter Maids, aka the Surfers Paradise Meter Maids. It can be found at: SurfersParadiseMeterMaidsTribute.blogspot.com. While in Surfers Paradise, you will find the meter maids on Cavill Avenue. Please meet them and post about that. I am trying to help educate the public and the people who run the Gold Coast as to what kind of treasure they have in those gold-clad "meter maids." Have fun. April (my wife) and I visited Surfers Paradise for five days in February, 2013, and loved it. We are planning to come back.

  2. Please post about the famous Surfers Paradise Beach and the wonderful shopping there. I would also urge you to post about the controversial light rail they just built. Pictures? How is that doing? Was it worth the hassles for business to get it done?

    1. Hi BondiJack,
Thanks for visiting my blog. I have more post on goldcoast and surfers paradise coming up, so do stay tuned. Unfortunately the light railway is not ready for use when I visited the place in April. We will probably re-visit the place again in the near future. :)
