Where to go if you only have half a day in Tokyo?

As mentioned earlier, this was only intended to be a short Tokyo trip because of the transit.

Breakfast in Ueno where our OAK HOTEL is.

~Yoshinoya~

Teriyaki Chicken Bowl.. honestly, the sauce is so different from the ones we have here.
Less salty and slightly sweeter.

Next, we took the subway and head to Asakusa Station where Ping said her favourite Tonkatsu-don is.

Food ordering machine!!

Can't read Japanese on the vending machines? No worries, there are food displays where you can easily make reference to.

Never really a fan of tonkatsu-don but this was really decent.

Tokyo is really a backpacker friendly city. There are lockers everywhere and most of them are located at subway stations. Went sightseeing after depositing our heavy bags.

Cleansing before entering the temple

Hokkaido Fair near the Temple

So Fresh and Naturally Sweet - Apple Juice

Erin told us this is a must try!!! Mochi freshly baked...

I chose the red bean one and its simply divine! if there is one thing that you must try, it just got to be this!!!

Lastly, Erin brought us to a spot to have a good view of the Tokyo Sky Tree and this marks the end of our Tokyo Trip.

Tokyo, I will be back soon.
