Day trip to Jeonju, Korea

I believe Jeju and Busan will come to most people's mind if they are thinking of travelling out of Seoul for a short trip. Since Sarah & I have been to Jeju and May isn't the right season to go Busan (the beach is closed), we google around for alternatives and found Jeonju 전주! The departure station is at Yongsan Station and not Seoul Station. Yongsan Station which is connected via the Seoul Subway lines. THAI PAN @ MANDARIN GARDENS

Thai Pan is located within Mandarin Gardens and is just around the vicinity of Victoria School and Victoria Junior College. My colleague highly recommend this place and raved about their butter squid. If you are driving there, be sure to inform the guard that you are visiting Thai Pan so that they can guide you to the visitor carpark. The packed restaurant @ 7:30pm Broccoli with fresh crab meat. I have never tried this elsewhere and would say that although its a bit on the bland side, it does compliment well with the other flavourful dishes. Butter Squid ($8) - lived up to its name! June Highlights Hollllaaaa!!! Exam's over. The last 2 weeks was all school and exam. A good break from the daily work. now time to blog about some backlogs. Lola's Cafe - totally love how my egg ben's is done. this is gonna be on my top fav for brunch. - their chicken wing is highly raved and not to be missed!! Being a cycling enthusiastic, i just need to bring Des there for the experience. Thank god, we were there at 11am as the crowd starts strolling in by noon.
